Our research group is METU PowerLab, working on electric machines, power electronics, and renewable‑energy systems. I am also affiliated with these research centers: RÜZGEM ODTÜ‑GÜNAM ROMER.
I am also co‑founder of Novator Enerji, an early‑stage spin‑off from our group commercializing grid-connected power electronics applications, power system analysis tools and PCB‑stator axial‑flux motors.
My research themes
- Electric machines for renewables — wind, hydro, superconducting generators
- PCB motors & integrated motor drives — axial‑flux PCB motors, cycloidal actuators
- Power electronics with SiC & GaN — PV inverters, motor drives, wireless power transfer
- Special‑purpose actuators & multi‑physics design — bespoke electromagnetic devices including multi-physics problems
