Our research group is METU PowerLab, working on electric machines, power electronics, and renewable‑energy systems.
I am also co‑founder of Novator, an early‑stage spin‑off from our group commercializing PCB‑stator axial‑flux motors and modular power converters for a smarter grid.
My research themes
- Electric machines for renewables — wind, hydro, superconducting generators
- Power electronics with SiC & GaN — PV inverters, EV chargers, wireless power transfer
- PCB‑stator & integrated motor drives — axial‑flux PCB motors, cycloidal actuators
- Special‑purpose actuators & multi‑physics design — bespoke electromagnetic devices
